Thirteen years of B2B marketing, mostly in-house, mostly in categories nobody calls exciting.
I am Shrey. I have spent thirteen years doing B2B marketing, most of it inside businesses rather than at agencies, and most of it in complicated categories with long sales cycles, cautious buyers and a sign-off step before anything goes live.
That means I have sat in the seat where the budget is small, the board wants numbers this quarter, there is nobody to delegate to, and the thing you planned on Monday is dead by Wednesday. It also means I know which advice is useless when you are the one who has to ship it.
Most marketing writing is either theory with no example attached, or a list of tools. Neither helps on a Tuesday afternoon with a deadline.
So this is the working notebook instead. What I try, what breaks, which AI tools survive a real week, and the decisions nobody writes about because they are not fun to be certain about.
I am a work from home dad in Manchester. Otherwise I am watching cricket, walking around the city with my daughter, or on LinkedIn calling it research.
What I worked on, what went wrong, and one thing worth stealing. Written for people doing the work rather than reading about it.
