3 things to stop doing on Facebook
Short edition. Three habits that persist long after they stopped working.
For B2B and small business pages specifically. Consumer brands with real audiences there are a different conversation.
Posting organically to a page with no audience
Organic page reach has been effectively zero for years. If you are posting three times a week to forty people, that time belongs somewhere else.
Boosting posts instead of running proper campaigns
Boost is a convenience feature with poor targeting and almost no measurement. If paid is worth doing, it is worth doing in the ads manager.
Keeping a page alive out of obligation
An abandoned page with a 2019 cover photo is worse than no page. Either commit to it or post a note directing people elsewhere and leave it tidy.
There is a keep hiding in here: groups, if your audience genuinely gathers in one. That is still a real channel and it is the only part of the platform I would defend for most B2B.
