Your case study is twice as long as it needs to be

The situation section is the bit nobody reads. Start at what changed.

Shrey Raizada  ·  12 Aug 2026  ·  1 min read  ·  Quick Peek

Most case studies open with three paragraphs about the client's industry, founding year and global footprint. None of that is why anyone opened the page.

The reader is trying to answer one question: did something like my problem get solved, and by how much.

So lead with the change. "Their quote turnaround went from three days to four hours." Then explain what was in the way, then what you did.

Keep the client description to one sentence and put it in a sidebar where it belongs.

If you cannot name a number, name a behaviour. "Their sales team stopped building their own slides" is proof. "Improved efficiency" is not.

Nobody reads the background. Start at the change.

One email. Monday morning. Four minutes.

What I worked on, what went wrong, and one thing worth stealing. Written for people doing the work rather than reading about it.
