Stop putting "solutions" in your headline

Nobody has ever searched for a solution. They search for the problem, in their own words.

Open your analytics and look at the search terms bringing people in. You will not find the word solutions. You will find symptoms, complaints and half-formed questions.

That gap matters, because "solutions" is a word sellers use and buyers do not. Same for platform, leverage, streamline and empower.

The fix is unglamorous. Write down the sentence your customer would say to a colleague while complaining. Then put that in the headline.

"Our quotes take three days and we keep losing deals" is not elegant. It is what somebody typed into a search bar this morning.

You can be elegant in paragraph two. The headline has one job, which is recognition.

Write the complaint, not the category.
